ATI R600 is a highly anticipated circuit, but as we all sadly know, it’s not that close to a launch. Hexus has now come across some really interesting information about ATI’s coming R600 and it seems that while ATI’s partners are yearning for the circuit they have had little or no access to the circuit so far and know nothing about when the circuit can be expected. The source states that not only is the cooling a big problem for ATI, but it also seems the power consumption is going to make the G80 seem like nothing. The source says that ATI has looking into not only air and water cooling, but also more high-tech solutions, which seems little far off though.
