AMD has updated the roadmap a bit, and we can now see that AMD’s 45nm Deneb core, which was reported to do more than 3GHz in the lab  a while back, will be available at frequencies up to 2.8GHz. There will be two AMD models based on the Deneb core, one which will operate at 2.5-2.8GHz, and one that will operate at 2.4-2.7GHz. Both sport 6MB L3 cache and 95W TDP. We expect samples to be out in mid-Q2 and final 45nm quad-core product should be out on the market before the end of the year.
