NVIDIA has now officially stated that its revenue will not meet market expectations. Analysts were predicting a revenue of $1.1 billion but NVIDIA has said that it will reach $950 million at most. AMD’s new performance segment graphics cards is the hit of the year things are not as pleasant as they should over at Santa Clara. On top of that, NVIDIA will pay a one-time sum of $150-200 million, because of defective packaging used with multiple mobile GPUs to correct these things.



NVIDIA put part blame on the notebook manufacturers, which is justified to some bit, making them too crowded. The inferior material can’t really be blamed entirely on NVIDIA either, and part of the $150-200 million may come back from insurers. As a result the stock dropped 25%.
