OCZ has come a long way since it started with enthusiast-geared memories. During CES it has presented a number of new products that not only falls into new segments, but also new markets. Except from the 910W model of PC Power & Cooling’s Silencer power supply it also had a product called Pro-Source 1500VA to show in Las Vegas. This one is also made by OCZ’s PC Power & Cooling section and it is a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) with enough power to supply a 600W computer with power for 10 minutes.
If the power goes the unit can want the user through e-mail or SMS, and the cost for this additional safety is around $300, says TechReport.
OCZ also had a a prototype of its coming computer case, which further proves that it is looking to broaden its assortment.
