Looking for a new processor? Especially a quad-core Intel CPU, but on a budget? It might be interesting to look at the review over at Legitreviews. They have taken a look at Core 2 Quad Q8200s (65W TDP) and compared it to other two, tri and quad-core processors. With a price tag just north of $250 for Q8200s and around $200 for Q8200 it certainly sounds like a good price/performance ratio. The only place where it doesn’t quite perform is cache-intensive tasks; Q8200 only has 4MB L2 cache, even less than the old Q6600.
