Intel is about to unveil a whole new series of processors in just a few weeks and with three new CPU models stretching through the Core i5 and Core i7 families, it will become a whole new platform. The Socket LGA1156 platform will use the Intel P55 chipset and the initial Lynnfield processors sports a dual-channel DDR3 memory controller, inherited from the Bloomfield architecture. Kingston has announced its readiness for the new platform with a whole bunch of dual-channel DDR3 kits.

The company press release reveals that it will ship a complete HyperX DDR3 dual-channel series with speeds ranging from 1333MHz up to 2133MHz. All modules comes with a maximal stock operating voltage of 1.65V and the 2133MHz flagship ships with CL8 timings.

The performance of memory modules especially interesting with Intel’s new Lynnfield platform since early tests have hinted of quite impressive potential for clocking memories. We have heard of multiple successful overclocks reaching over 2300-2500MHz where ASUS presented the P7P55D Deluxe motherboard by overclocking memory to 2550MHz.
