Båda använder sig av NVIDIAs nya 55nm G200b GPU som ger lägre strömförbrukning och högre klockfrekvenser, vilket också visar sig i specifikationerna. Korten är riktade mot de extrema entusiasterna men NVIDIA har lyckats att hålla priserna förvånansvärt låga, även om man fortfarande har de dyraste korten efter AMDs passande prissänkningar på Radeon HD 4870 X2.
