Google has according to a report invited the top 20 of the most influential people in the music industry to a conference with a secret agenda. Discussions have been running wild all over the Internet, but the purpose of Google’s meeting with the music industry remains a secret and it seems the hottest tip at the moment is that Google is planning a online music store similar to Apple’s iTMS (iTunes Music Store). Other theories are that the music industry wants to discuss Google’s responsibilities towards them as its search engine index sites with illegal torrents containing music. We are of course hoping for the first and if there is anyone except Microsoft that could compete with Apple and iTunes its Google. Source: Ars Technica
