LaCie has launched a new model of its 500 series; LaCie 526. The new monitor measures 25,5″ and uses an H-IPS panel with a 1920×1200 pixel resolution. LaCie has built a tremendous monitor with a color reproduction of 95% AdobeRGB and 98.5% ISO color gamut. The monitor has also been equipped with a 12-bit Look-Up Table and 16-bit color precision. To make sure the backlighting as even as possible the monitor comes with a sensor called ColorKeeper. This simply sensors the light and just the baclighting accordingly. It can also be adjusted manually if you’re not happy with the result.
