LG 1730B is an LCD monitor in the mid end segment. With a 17″ screen and a price at about €260 it is a model that could interest many first-time buyers. Something you’ve learned by now is that specifications and price aren’t the only things you should be looking at and therefore we have decided to take a closer look at LG’s monitor. Is it possible to create a relatively cheap 17″ LCD monitor with good specifications, 1280x1024px resolution, 12ms response time and DVI interface, without the quality taking a hit?
