Microsoft’s latest creation Windows 7 has become the talk of the town and many are those who are seriously considering to buy to copy. You have to be quick though, because Microsoft is planning to raise the price of the full version of the operating system. According to MS this will not affect that many consumers since many are choosing to upgrade from an older operating system.
The higher price can be looked at as a side-effect of Microsoft’s previous decision of not selling a special European version of Windows 7 without browser. Microsoft will instead bundle the most popular browsers with the operating so that consumers can pick whatever they like and prefer.
The price hike will be between 20 to 80 Euro depending on version. The upgrade prices remains the same as before.
These are the prices of the full versions after September 1st:
- Home Premium 199.99 Euro
- Professional 309 Euro
- Ultimate 319 Euro
