Microsoft Windows Genuine Advantage has to be one of the most unpopular things the company has ever created. Not so much because it is an attempt to prevent privacy and make annoying popups appear with illegal copies but more because all too many innocent people have also experienced this. Microsoft has now decided to update this and among others introduce a new step between Genuine and non-Genuine; “Not Sure.” It’s been mainly OEM customers that have been having problems with Microsoft’s service and to ease the process when WGA makes a wrong, Microsoft has constructed a guide for contacting Microsoft when it happens. Microsoft will update the new service constantly to make sure as few innocent as possible are affected by WGA.
