Microsoft has as we’ve reported earlier gotten into trouble with the South Korean authorities. Microsoft has now taken a step closer to solving this though as the Korean telecom-company Daum Communications Corp. has accepted an agreement where Microsoft will pay them $30 million, divded into three parts: $10 million cash, an advertising contract worth $10 million and a deal worth $10 million containg among others a joined marketing plan. This is no way the end of this story or even a hinder for the Korean fair-trade commision to investigate more thoroughly, but just a small first step of what seems to become a long process.
