Intel has no intention of revving down when it comes to its processor development, but recently surfaced roadmaps suggests that the mobile processor models have been put aside in favor of Intel’s desktop and server models. Intel has already announced its first Nehalem-based processors in the form if Core i7 but as we earlier indicated we will have to wait a lot longer for the mobile equivalents.
Intel’s Clarksfield processors will appear in the third quarter 2009 and will be all quad-core models. Quad-core processors for the mobile market will start appearing in stores later on in 2009.
