HD DVD and Toshiba has earlier announced that the first HD DVD players would arrive on the Japanese market at the end of this year. This doesn’t appear to be the case now though as it has bumped into problems with the copy protection that HD DVD uses. Unfortunately there is no new date for when we will actually see the HD DVD players, but we expect them to solve this very quickly as otherwise they will actually loose their only real advantage by now; being first out on the market.
