Viliv will in the middle of August release its new media player P2, equipped with an AMD processor at 400 Mhz and a 4,3 inch widescreen, touch screen. The player sports a load of different formats; MPEG-1/2/4, DivX, XviD, MP3, WMA, OGG, AC-3 WAV and H.264. It comes with the Windows CE 5.0 operating system and you can choose between a 20 or 30 gigabyte harddrive. The price has not been set yet but looking at its features it could end up relatively high. The player namely also has an optional GPS navigation support, something you don’t see very often with media players. Compared to the manufacturer’s current P1 model P2 seems not only better overall but also better looking.

Things are looking quite promising for Viliv’s latest creation and if you want more than just music and video playback with your media player this seems like an excellent choice, but it has not been launched yet so we don’t know how well it actually works or what it will cost.
