When it’s time to install a new operating system it often requires some extra time to install third-party applications, but you also have to spend time finding the latest versions online. It takes time and can be real test of your patience. There are remedies for this though, to help with your fresh Windows 7 installation.
The program, or service, is called Ninite and is based on the website ninite.com. Here users can browse and download a large library of usable and popular applications. Select your favorites and click “Get Installer”. Similar to the package distribution systems found with most Linux distributions, but not quite.
Ninite will then locate the latest versions of the applications you selected, download and then bake them into one big installation file that is downloaded to your computer. Execute the file and all of the applications are installed automatically, with the default settings and without any browser plugins or other annoying options.
A good tool for all who wish to simplify their Windows installations. The service is free and was previously known as Volery when it was in closed beta.
