The official launch of Windows 8 is getting closer and closer, and besides its new and controversial interface, it will also support ARM processors with its sibling operating system Windows RT. Box shots have finally appeared online.
Microsoft has decided to make things easier for users with Windows 8, which will only be available in two versions. Standard is simply Windows 8, while Windows 8 Pro will be the full version with all fucntions activated. The Verge has acquired what is claimed to be the box shots for both versions.
Microsoft has trimmed the packaging and has tried to make the boxes more appealing than previous generations if Windows. Windows 8 and Windows 8 Pro will be available in stores and via the web, and preinstalled in computers and tablets. The ARM version Windows RT will only come preinstalled and not be sold in stores, since this software only works with certified hardware from Microsoft and its manufacturing partners. We’re not sure what to say, so what do you think?
