According to MCV we should expect Nintendo to launch its next-gen video game console Wii on November 24 costing £149 ($279/€220). The source states that there will be more than enough consoles available at launch so that no one will have to go home empty-handed for Christmas. If the price turns out to be correct Nintendo has quite a margin to its competitors, Microsoft and Sony, which has been quite expected though. Nintendo Wii will cost about £50 less than Xbox 360 Core and mighty £275 less than PlayStation 3. Nintendo will surely have the economy on its side but exactly how far that will take them remains to be seen.
