This has now been made official as OCZ has launched the first 15″ DIY notebook based on Intel’s Centrino 2 platform. You cannot tailor the notebook entirely, you’re locked to the integrated ATI Radeon HD 3650 GPU, but you can choose from a variety of processors, harddrives, memories and operating systems. The price OCZ’s DIY Notebook starts at about $750, without the main components.
