OCZ Summit is the latest Solid State Drive series to utilize Samsung’s updated firmware. OCZ has released a firmware update for its 2.5″ SSD series, which can be downloaded at the company website. The firmware supports TRIM in Windows 7 and regular Garbage Collection with Windows Vista and XP. Make sure to back up your data before updating the firmware since the drives will be sweeped clean during the update process.
