OCZ has now launched a complete series of memories especially for Microsoft’s new operating system Windows Vista. The OCZ Vista Upgrade series is launched at both 667MHz and 800MHz where the PC2-6400 Vista Upgrade 2GB will be the optimal choice for gamers with a specified frequency at 800MHz. Those who want a higher memory density should instead go for the PC2-5400 Vista Upgrade 4GB model. Here you only get 667MHz frequency but 4GB RAM should be more than enough for most things. Both memory kits are specified at 5-5-5-15 latencies and the only thing we’re waiting for are the prices of the new memory modules. By now most memory manufacturers have launched 4GB memory kits and we’re eager to see how much of an impact on the performance of Vista these have.
