OCZ has been displaying many different peripherals at CeBIT and beside the Alchemy Illuminati keyboard we told you about it has also shown its Sabre keyboard. Sabre is also a gamer keyboard and has, beside the visual effects, some additional functionality in the form of nine OLED buttons. Just like Optimus Maximus you can change the icons of the keys through software, which makes it possible to tailor the functions of the keyboard.

You can also control the color of the backlighting of the OLED keys, but it’s not possible to use multicolored pictures. Since the keys are programmable you can tie infinitely long macros that together with other settings are stored on the integrated 128MB flash memory.

Except from the OLED keys, Saber doesn’t have much new to offer so the price will determine if it will make or break.
